Workshops and Professional development events

The school professional development events will be focused on helping students and PhD students who are in the early stages of their academic careers. The events will include the following:

1. Tutorials/lectures of invited speakers on hot topics of optics and photonics;

2. Interactive career development seminars presented by the workshop organizers (e.g. CV, paper, presentation writing);

3. Workshops on scientific software (CST, COMSOL, LabView, etc.) and photonics equipments (spectroscopy, imaging, etc.);

4. Round table discussions and poster presentations of participating Student Chapters showcasing their activities;

5. Student paper, presentation and poster contests.
